The Aida POS: your register in the browser

The Aida POS runs in a web browser, so a laptop, tablet or phone you already own can be your register. You can also install it as an app.
What it does
- Products with variants, a fast basket and order discounts.
- Card payments on a Stripe card reader, or by QR code or pay link on the customer's phone.
- Cash with change calculation, split payments (part card, part cash) and tips.
- Receipts by email and customer profiles, with loyalty rewards (cashback or points) and offers if you want them.
- Shifts with an opening float and an end-of-day Z-report built from the same records as your Payments list.
- If the connection drops, cash sales are kept on the device and sent to your account exactly once when you're back online. Card payments need a connection.
Card readers
Pair a Stripe smart reader (BBPOS WisePOS E or Stripe Reader S700) under Settings and choose Card reader in the POS. The customer taps, inserts or swipes their card, and the sale counts once Stripe confirms it. Readers are sold by Stripe. Tap to Pay on a phone needs a native app, so it isn't available in the browser POS. In store, customers pay by card on a Stripe card reader (bought from Stripe), or with a QR code or pay link on their phone.
Card sales cost 0.85% in store in Denmark and 1.09% or less in Sweden and Norway, card processing included, with no monthly fee and 0% on cash. See all rates.
